How much does a CBT session cost?

At Thriveworks, we accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay as little as $0–$50 per session with their co-pay. We also offer self-pay options for those out-of-network or without insurance. Self-pay rates for talk therapy range from $160 to $240 for intake sessions and $135 to $195 for follow-ups, depending on your state. For psychiatry services, self-pay intake sessions are $255–$375, with follow-ups ranging from $175–$300, also varying by state. Is CBT conducted in person or online?

How many sessions is CBT?

Generally, CBT is considered a short-term therapy, typically lasting for about 12 to 20 weekly sessions. In some cases, it might extend to around 16 to 20 sessions for more complex issues.

Auto accident caused my Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD, loosing sight in one eye.... just the beginning of injuries I incurred. I clicked with Stephanie. Her beautiful spirt is equaled by her high intelligence. She took the time to learn what happened to me and what my triggers were, and the overall emotional state I was in. I truly felt that she cared about me as a person and wanted to see me recover after my life was shattered. When I began therapy with her, I honestly wasn't sure if I could recover. I thought my life was over and there couldn't be a way to recover, then I began sessions with her. Now I have hope in my future and a healthy mindset which will help me to overcome my traumatic event and live my best life. I had know idea a transformation was possible before meeting Stephanie, but she showed me it was very much possible. I worked hard with her to heal.
