My clinical background includes working with individuals struggling with substance abuse, children and families in the foster care setting, victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse and assault, and clients with generalized anxiety, depression, eating disorders and trauma. I particularly enjoy working with young adults struggling with depression and anxiety who want to work on their self esteem and create a stronger sense of self-worth. I am also passionate about working with mothers, some of whom are struggling to adjust to motherhood, finding their voice, and recognizing their value within the family system. I love working with clients who are motivated and goal oriented to create the life that they want to live. I will support you along the way and help identify what exactly that looks like for you.

I offer a nonjudgmental clinical environment for clients to be able to process and identify what struggles they are currently faced with and start to unravel how those came to be. Ashlyn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. They work with adults and believe that taking an eclectic approach can help foster a greater sense of awareness and allow you to feel more connected in your mind, body, and personal relationships. Ashlyn has experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and communication challenges, life transitions, and substance use. Ashlyn received their Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Massachusetts, Boston. They utilize person-centered, strengths-based, expressive arts therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches to help support individuals with developing strategies to think holistically about their perspectives and behaviors, develop healthy personal relationships, and move toward their individualized treatment goals.

Sue Perez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 7 years of experience in the mental health field. She has experience in doing this kind of work with people of all ages who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, family/relationship, and behavior issues. Sue completed her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Central Connecticut State University. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient, intensive outpatient, home-based, and private practice. Sue is a wife and mother and has raised her family in a bicultural environment with her spouse being from the South American country of Colombia. These professional and personal experiences have shaped who she is as a person and as a therapist. Sue brings a very down-to-earth and realistic approach to working with her clients and she has a passion for meeting her clients where they are and building collaborative relationships with them. She has Level 1 and 2 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Sue believes that she is the guide in the therapy room while her clients are the experts in their own lives and with support can find what they need to move through their struggles and challenges to reach all of their goals.
