I'm excited to get the opportunity to work with you! Here are a few things you may need to know before your first appointment. If you choose to do a virtual appointment, you must be residing in North Carolina, which is the state in which I am licensed to provide services. This is not a concern if you are choosing to come in person for appointments. If you are seeking play therapy for a child, this is provided in person only due to the nature of the way service is provided, making it a service that does not lend itself to virtual appointments. This is not a concern for traditional talk therapy with adults, which can be provided virtually.
As part of this post-COVID world, I understand how things can be chaotic and challenging.
As someone who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and experiences her own anxiety, I understand how challenging life can get and how important it is to have someone to talk to!
I am a very compassionate and professional Nurse Practitioner that has treated mental health conditions and substance use for over 10 years.
