Kendra Fox-Stinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She has worked in both the mental health and educational fields to gain a comprehensive perspective that guides her therapy processes. She has been able to gain respect and understanding of the full spectrum of treatment from beginning to maintenance. Some areas of focus for Kendra are crisis, trauma, depression, grief, parental roles, couples, anxiety, teens, organizational and career issues, and spirituality.
Kendra has offered services in inpatient stabilization, forensic holds, in-school therapy, in-home therapy, partial hospitalization program, traditional outpatient, domestic violence shelters, military family deployment groups, and immediate on-site or telephonic crisis evaluations. Kendra appreciates the opportunity to assist in meeting an individual, family, couple, or group within their dynamics and working towards a collaborated healthy set of goals. She has experience utilizing multiple evidence-based approaches and modalities to work with various populations. Kendra can use skills from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), solution-focused, narrative therapy, Gerontology frameworks, crisis intervention, family therapy, pre-marital preparations, suicide prevention, substance abuse recovery, play therapy, and anxiety management. Kendra strives to share what she has gained working in the mental health field for over 10 years in the hopes of guiding others to their mental health growth and healing potential.
